Tira McIntosh-Lampkins, Owner/President
Come get acquainted with me. I am a highly skilled professional, recognized for my profound comprehension and interpretation of intricate legal precedents, policies, laws, and administrative procedures. I possess a Bachelor of General Studies with a Political Science concentration from Roosevelt University as well as a post-baccalaureate in Legal Studies, graduating with honors from the same. I began my public administrative career in 1999 with a 12-month internship with a U.S. Senator, where I ensured compliance with a PAC for the campaign. My ability to research information and interpret complex laws and policies is what fueled my personal pursuit to be a resource to individuals and businesses. This commitment has resulted in my occupying multiple roles on various Illinois Congressional Business Taskforces and playing integral roles in furthering community engagement for nonprofits, municipal, state, and federal agencies. I revel in articulating the missions of others and have authored and co-authored grants with awards totaling over 1.5 million dollars (2021/22) for nonprofits from grantees such as Microsoft, the State of California, and public utility boards.

The History
I launched my consulting business in 2018 out of a deep understanding that many individuals struggle to comprehend and navigate the often complex and technical directives, policies, and program requirements that can significantly impact their lives. Recognizing this gap, I saw an opportunity to utilize my expertise to demystify these complexities for the general public and for other small businesses.
TMAC Consultants serves as a bridge, providing essential guidance and support to those who may feel overwhelmed or unaware of the programs and resources available to them. Driven by a commitment to advocacy, particularly for those who lack the resources or knowledge to advocate for themselves. My goal is to empower my clients with the information and strategies they need to navigate these systems effectively and leverage the opportunities and resources available to them. In doing so, I believe I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many, simplifying complexities and fostering greater access to essential programs and benefits.
